What you need to make a leg scrub

The ingredients for a leg scrub are very simple. In fact, you need:

  • a quarter cup of sugar,
  • half a cup of oil (you can use both olive oil and any other type of oil, such as coconut oil, baby oil, etc.),
  • 3 tablespoons of citrus juice (lemon or lime) or 20 drops of lemon essential oil.

How to do an exfoliating leg scrub

Now that you've got all the ingredients, start mixing them all together. Just take any container, large enough, and shake everything.

Then, transfer the mixture you have obtained in this way inside a plastic bottle for easy application.

At this point, immerse your legs in the bath for 5 minutes. Or, if you are taking a shower, wash and soften your hair first, so that your legs have time to come into contact with water for a few minutes.

Once you are sure of this timing, apply the mixture to your legs and scrub gently. You will realize that the material is really comfortable, and that you can also end up using it on your feet and arms.

After rubbing the mixture for a few minutes, it's time to shave your legs. As long as you do not overdo the abrasion of the skin, you can also repeat this procedure twice in a row to get the best results. The second time you can help yourself with the use of a mild soap.

Finally, when you are done with the bath or shower, put some of your favorite lotion on your legs and enjoy them smooth and silky. You will probably be surprised how soft your skin is!
