DIY lip balm with shea butter
Let's start with the shea butter, one of the most used ingredients in the beauty routine of women all over the world.
In order to make a DIY lip balm with the shea butter, all you have to do is take 3 tablespoons of pure shea butter, half a teaspoon of honey and a few drops (3-4 of olive oil).
Take all these ingredients and put them in a container, melting them in a double boiler. Then, take a small container (like the one for miniature perfumes), which you have previously washed carefully and deeply, and dried, and fill it with the conditioner you just made.
You can use this compound frequently, considering its 100% natural and not very aggressive ingredients!

DIY lip balm with scrub effect
A good alternative to the recipe above is the DIY lip balm with scrub effect. The lips, in fact, just like any other part of the skin, need to be not only moisturizing, but also "cleaned" of dead cells, in order to promote the regeneration of epithelial cells.
In short, a dedicated scrub, which you can make at home with the ingredients that we will summarize below, is what it takes!
To make it yourself, take a teaspoon of olive or wheat germ or jojoba oil, a teaspoon of malt or honey, and a small teaspoon of brown sugar.
Mix all the ingredients together and you will have an excellent scrub, which you can then use by passing the mixture gently on the lips, and massaging gently in a circular direction, in order to eliminate the excess skin.
DIY vanilla lip balm
Another delicious recipe, and which will allow you to have a pleasant scented balm on your lips, is that of vanilla lip balm.
To be able to make it at home, all you have to do is get 6 grams of cocoa butter, 2 grams of shea butter, 2 grams of mimosa wax and a few drops (2-3) of vanilla oleoresin.
Once you have taken all these ingredients with you, put them in a container and melt them in a bain-marie, except for the vanilla extract and essential oils. Once they have melted, remove them from the heat and add the vanilla extract and the essential oils or the vanilla oleoresin. Then pour the mixture, still fluid, into a small container, where you can keep your product.
DIY chocolate lip balm
So let's deal with another alternative that is always very popular on websites, namely that of chocolate lip balm.
Again, the ingredients are quite simple to find, considering that all you will need are two teaspoons of shea butter, two teaspoons of cocoa butter and a square of dark chocolate.
If you have found all the ingredients, all you have to do is pour them into a saucepan. Then take a larger saucepan, add some water and bring to a boil. At this point you can put the smaller saucepan inside it, favoring the melting in a water bath.
When the chocolate is almost melted, you can add the cocoa butter and shea butter. Stir to mix well, turn off the heat and continue stirring. Then pour the mixture you have obtained into a small container, let it cool to room temperature, and then put everything in the refrigerator, until it has completely solidified.
By doing so, you can use your very own DIY lip balm whenever you want, always having the certainty of applying a healthy, natural and 100% safe product to your lips.
